I am sorry for the lack of posts lately. We have been remodeling and it has been crazy around our household. I am back tonight with a movie night from last night. Beauty and the Beast! We turned our "under construction" kitchen into "Be Our Guest".
On the menu we had Sparkling Grape Juice, French Onion Soup, Green Bean Casserole, Croque Monsieurs, Parmesan Encrusted Pork Chops, Peanut Butter Crepes and Enchanted Rose Cupcakes. We had a photo op that you would most likely find inside of Gaston's Tavern with some antlers...
As for activities, we read a book (like Belle likes to do) and the children had to find items that were listed in the book. They really enjoyed the hunt!
We also melted some crayon shavings to make a "stained glass window"...
If my son had been feeling better, I would've taken them outside for a good snowball fight (we just had fresh snow that day) but he was feeling a little under the weather so we stayed indoors. Another great idea for an activity is to paint a portrait of the beast like he has hanging in his castle.
After our activities were finished, we cozied up to watch the movie. This really got me excited for our trip in December... I'm hoping to get a reservation at the coveted "Be Our Guest" restaurant in Magic Kingdom.
If you'd like to eat inside Beast's castle, don't hesitate to send me an email! I can help you book the trip of your dreams, give you all sorts of ideas for movie nights like this, suggest restaurants and so many extra things I just can't list them all here. You may even get a special surprise when you book with me (depending on your package booked).
